Parallel Recollections

Francois Viljoen

Francois Viljoen is a British author whose fascination with psychology, morality, and the hidden motivations behind human behaviour shapes every story he writes. Drawing on a career spent solving complex real-world problems, he brings the same analytical precision to fiction, crafting narratives that challenge readers to question what they think they know. His debut novel, Parallel Recollections, is a psychological thriller that blurs the line between memory and reality. Rather than relying solely on action or suspense, the novel explores the consequences of trauma, obsession, and deception through an intricate narrative where every revelation reshapes the story that came before. Designed to reward careful readers, the novel combines layered plotting with morally complex characters and an atmosphere of mounting tension. When he is not writing, Francois enjoys photography and continues to pursue projects that combine creativity with technology. Parallel Recollections is the first in a body of work dedicated to intelligent, character-driven thrillers that stay with readers long after the final page.
