Order lead times (physical products)

We process and ship orders within the turnaround time specified on the product pages. Below is a general guideline:

• Stock held on our premises: 2-4 working days
• Print-on-demand products: 6–7 working days (includes processing, printing, and packaging)
• Stock held by vendors: 7–10 working days (includes receiving stock before shipping)

Payment Tip:

• EFT & Direct Deposit: Orders are processed only after proof of payment is received.
• All other payment methods: Orders are processed immediately.

Delivery weight thresholds

Orders exceeding our shipping weight limits will fail at checkout. If this happens, please email us for a custom delivery quote.

Weight limits by destination

• Within South Africa: Max 10kg
• To the UK: Max 2kg

You can view delivery costs by clicking View Basket or checking below. If multiple options are available at Checkout, select your preferred delivery method, and the total will update.

All goods will be delivered together under the one delivery cost, unless the weight threshold has been exceeded (see Delivery Weight Thresholds above).

Deliveries within South Africa

• Major cities (max 5kg): R98
• Outlying areas (max 5kg): R125
• Outlying areas – Economy (max 5kg): R120 (adds 5–7 business days)
• Collect from Parklands, Cape Town – Free: We’ll notify you when your parcel is ready for collection.

International Delivery – UK

• With tracking: 20–40 working days (registered parcel, insurance included).
  Without tracking: Currently unavailable due to shipping delays.

Some of our titles are available as PDF eBooks, which open instantly in your browser — no app to install, no file to download. Your purchase is linked to your account and available any time you log in.

How to access your PDF eBook

There are three easy ways to get to your book:

1. Use the link in your confirmation email

Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email with a Read Now button next to your book title. Tap or click it and your eBook opens immediately. Some books may take a while to load, so please be patient.

2. Log in to your account

1. Go to publisher.co.za/my-account and log in.
2. Click the eBooks tab.
3. Tap Read Now next to your book.

Your full library is here – every PDF eBook you’ve ever purchased, available any time.

3. Add a shortcut to your phone’s home screen

On iPhone (Safari): Open your book, tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up), then tap Add to Home Screen. A one-tap shortcut will appear on your home screen.

On Android (Chrome): Open your book, tap the three-dot menu, then tap Add to Home screen.

Reading without an internet connection

You can save any PDF eBook to your device so you can read it offline – on a plane, out of signal, or without using data.

1. Open the ebook while connected to the internet.
2. Tap the Save Offline button in the reader toolbar.
3. Wait for the confirmation message: “eBook saved for offline reading ✅”.
4. Your book is now available even in Airplane mode.

Note: The book is saved to the browser you used – if you switch browsers or clear your browser data, you will need to save it for offline reading again. We recommend combining offline saving with the home screen shortcut for the most convenient experience.

Common questions about PDF eBooks

Will I lose access if I log out?
 No. Your purchase is permanently linked to your publisher.co.za account. Log out and back in any time – your eBooks will always be there.

Can I read on multiple devices?
 Yes. Log into your publisher.co.za account on any device – phone, tablet, or computer – and your library is available. Each device you want to use offline needs its own Save Offline.

Can I download the PDF file to my computer?
 Our PDF eBooks are read through our secure online reader and are not available as a downloadable file. The Save Offline feature lets you read without internet at any time, which works the same way for most purposes.

The reader is not loading. What do I do?
 Try the following: reload the page, check your internet connection, or try a different browser. If the problem continues, email us at info@publisher.co.za.

Order fulfilment – ePub format

Your eBook download link will be sent to the email address provided during checkout once your payment has been confirmed.

Your download email will contain a button or link labelled Download your ebook.

Please note:

• The download link expires seven days after your purchase. If you miss the download window, please email us for a new link.
• The file may be downloaded up to five times.
• Please save the downloaded file to your device once you have downloaded it.
• If you do not receive your download email, please check your spam or junk-mail folder.
• If you have any trouble downloading your eBook, please email us for support.

Adding your eBook to your library

Apple Devices: iPhone, iPad and Mac

Apple devices can open eBook files using the Apple Books app, Adobe Digital Editions, or any other compatible ePub or PDF reader.

1. Open the download email on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
2. Select Download your ebook.
3. Download the ebook file.
4. Open the downloaded file and select Open in Books or Apple Books.
5. OR if you are using Adobe Digital Editions, select that option.
6. The eBook will be added to your Books library.

You can then open your chosen app whenever you wish to read your eBook.
Note: PDF ebooks can also be read from any browser or PDF-reading app.

Android Phones and Tablets

Android devices can open ePub files using Google Play Books or another eBook-reading app.

1. Open the download email on your Android device.
2. Select Download your ebook.
3. Open the downloaded file from your Downloads folder.
4. Select Google Play Books or another ePub-reading app.
5. Follow the app’s instructions to add the eBook to your library.

If you do not have an ePub-reading app installed, you can install a suitable eBook reader from the Google Play Store, such as Adobe Digital Editions or another trusted ePub reader.
Note: PDF ebooks can also be read from any browser or PDF-reading app.

Windows Computers

To read an ePub on a Windows computer, you will need an eBook-reading application.

1. Download the ePub file from the email.
2. Install an eBook reader such as Adobe Digital Editions.
3. Open Adobe Digital Editions.
4. Select File, followed by Add to Library.
5. Locate the downloaded eBook file and select it.
6. The eBook will be added to your library.

You can then open the eBook from your Adobe Digital Editions library.
Note: PDF ebooks can also be read from any browser or PDF-reading app.
