Payment methods

For all payments other than EFT and Direct Deposit, you will be directed to Payfast to complete your payment. Payfast is one of South Africa’s leading payment gateways employing the latest security technology to ensure that all transactions are totally secure. No payment data is ever captured or stored on our web servers.

Delivery weight thresholds

When shipping weights exceed the thresholds set for this store (see below), your order will fail.

Kindly email us your order request and we will generate a custom delivery quotation for you based on the total consignment weight of your order. You will have the option of accepting or rejecting the order depending on the delivery cost. It may take 1–2 working days to finalise a delivery cost to your destination.

DELIVERIES WITHIN SOUTH AFRICA: Weight threshold is 10kg
DELIVERIES TO THE UK: Weight threshold is 2kg

Order fulfilment (physical products)

Orders are processed and shipped within the turnaround time indicated on the product pages, but a general guideline for each product type has been provided below.

• Stock physically held on our premises: 1–2 working days from receipt of payment
• Print-on-demand products: 5–7 working days from receipt of payment (this allows time for order processing, printing and packaging)
• Stock physically held by other vendors: 7–10 workings days (this allows time to receive the stock from the vendor and then ship it to you)

Credit/Debit card and Instant EFT payments reflect immediately and result in quicker turnaround times. EFT and Direct Deposit payments will be processed on receipt of your proof of payment.

Note: If you do not send proof of payment, it can take up to 5 working days for our finance department to notify us of the payment.

Delivery methods and costs (physical products)

To view the delivery cost, click on View Basket or view the pricing below. To select a different delivery option at Checkout (only if available), click the radio button of your preferred delivery option. Your order total will update immediately.

DELIVERIES WITHIN SOUTH AFRICA

• Major cities (max 5kg): R75–R85
• Outlying areas (max 5kg): R110
• Outlying areas economy (max 5kg): R75 (add 5–7 business days to the order fulfilment time)

NOTE: Delivery to outlying areas will happen via door-to-door courier, Postnet or PAXI, depending on the service available in your area, with door-to-door courier taking preference unless alternative options have been selected by you.

COLLECT FROM CENTURY CITY, CAPE TOWN: We will provide you with the collection address and let you know when your parcel is ready to collect. There is no delivery charge with this option.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY TO THE UK with tracking: This is a registered parcel delivery service, with insurance. Your order can be traced, and may be delivered to your door or your nearest post office, depending on the delivery address supplied. Delivery can take anything from 20–40 working days. These long international delivery times are regretfully beyond our control.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY TO THE UK without tracking: THIS OPTION IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY DELAYS AND UNPREDICTABILITY.

Order fulfilment (ebooks)

A download link is provided on successful payment using Credit/Debit Card and Instant EFT. If payment is made using standard EFT or Direct Deposit, a download link will be emailed to you on receipt of your proof of payment.

Ebooks on our site are sold in good faith by authors who do not believe in policing others on how their books are read. This means that ebooks are not locked to any particular device or e-reading app, leaving you free to transfer the downloaded ebook to the devices or e-reader apps of your choice. In return, the authors ask you to value their hard work and goodwill by not sharing files and by encouraging others to purchase their own copy of the book from this store.

Viewing your ebook

ePub: The ePub format can be read using most ebook readers. Simply download an e-reading app, load the book into the app library, and enjoy! Adobe Digital Editions is a free app that reads both ePub and PDF and offers other handy functionality.

PDF: Just double-clicking the file will usually open a browser or PDF-compatible app within which to view the file. However, you may want to make bookmarks or notes, or keep all your ebooks in one place, in which case it is recommended that you load the PDF into your e-reading app of choice. Most e-reading apps that read ePub also read PDF. Adobe Digital Editions is a free app that reads both ePub and PDF and offers other handy functionality.
