Pitso Mosimane

Pitso Mosimane is one of Africa’s most celebrated football coaches and a respected voice in the global game. Born and raised in Soweto, his journey from professional footballer to internationally acclaimed coach has been shaped by discipline, resilience, leadership and an enduring belief in the transformative power of football. A former Bafana Bafana midfielder, Mosimane went on to build an extraordinary coaching career across South Africa and abroad. He has led some of the continent’s most prominent clubs, including Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly, and has won three CAF Champions League titles, establishing himself as one of the most decorated coaches in African football.
