Vision Never Dies – Learning Curves From My Non-Linear Career Journey

In this book, Refilwe Phaswana-Mafuya takes a retrospective look at how her career evolved from humble beginnings filled with rich, spiritual values that sustained her against all odds: “Tloga tloga e tloga kgale, modisa was kgomo o tswa nayo sakeng”. Her dynamic and exciting career journey was not an easy or straight path. It was difficult, long-winding, “unscripted” and “unprescribed”, filled with steep learning curves that delivered noble lessons for her good.

Doors of opportunity that fitted my creative personality and stimulated my inquiring mind were opened wide for me to pursue my deep-rooted passion for knowledge, commitment to serve humankind, and achieve my undying vision of changing, transforming and impacting lives beyond my wildest imagination. I will forever be indebted to this great support system.”

There is always something to give back to others. Refilwe has passed on the baton by using what had been given to her to serve and bless young visionary women and to inspire and nurture them on their own career paths. She opened doors of opportunity for them as had been done for her, and guided them in the same manner in which she had been guided to success.
